Christy Dawn is a very special company because they ONLY use deadstock fabrics for everything they use. That means that they take the fabrics that bigger unsustainable clothing companies discard. They are very famous for their dresses but have a large variety of clothing.
RM - they only use deadstock fabrics which means they repurpose fabrics that otherwise would have been trashed.
OP - all orders are packaged in a reusable burlap tote (sustainably sourced of course)
PS - they ship orders in recycled cardboard boxes and paper tape.
Reformation is one of the most progressive clothing companies today. They do a multitude of things to ensure that their fabrics are sustainably sourced such as recycling fibers and using sustainable fibers such as viscose and rayon.
RM - many of their products contain recycled fibers
PM - reformation tests all their products for dyes and hazardous materials via either Bluedesign, OEKO tex or their own restricted substance list that is based on the AFIRM Group industry level standards.
OP - comes in a home compostable bioplastic bag
PS - Packaging is 100% plastic free, made with compostable bio-based films and 100% recycled paper products
WTWaE - They have partnered with “the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) Water Restoration Program to help put back some of the resources [they] used.”
CN - They have been 100% carbon neutral since 2015 and use 100% wind powered electricity.
